Tim Green, a lecturer in his mid-forties, is looking forward to an evening with his new partner Brady. However, when he arrives, Brady makes a confession that turns Tim’s world upside down. He needs time to think, but has no idea how to bridge the gap between the two of them. Or even if he wants to do so.
A conversation with a mutual friend makes him realise there are issues in his own life that he’s never admitted to Brady. His partner isn’t the only one at fault. Can Tim find the courage to make his own confession in order to save their relationship? Or are some communication problems simply too hard to resolve?
This book is the second in The Potter's Choice series. The first in the series is Brady's Choice.
Reviews:
"I was touched at the emotional impact packed into this short work. A heartfelt & lovely read." (From a 5-star Goodreads review)
"A rather touching, poignant tale of two men, both struggling to overcome bad breakups. Their courting is at first gentle but then an old flame turns up and things become challenging. A short but very tender love story." (From a 5-star Goodreads review)
"Short story about two 40ish men who have residual emotions about their prior relationships that means they either talk it out and deal with it like adults or risk letting go of a good thing. Sweet. Thoughtful. Little bit of sexy." (4-star Amazon Review)
