Reviews:

"I loved everything about this book. The characters were relatable and the friendship they had felt genuine. The concept of friendship Friday once a month was great; I meet my own besties on a Friday for lunch and it’s something I look forward to. It's all about three women supporting each other through the highs and lows of life with fun, laughter and tears. A perfect summer read and also a read for anyone anytime. I highly recommend it." (A review from @Lisa_Reads_ALot)

"This is a fun and feel-good read. I love the friendship between Leonora, Selena and Dorothea, and it was lovely to follow their ups and down throughout the book. It's a funny read that made me chuckle in places and I loved the style of writing. It hooked me in straightaway and entertained me until the end. 5 stars!" (Tea Leaves and Book Leaves Reviews)

"A terrific story told with great empathy and understanding for the strength and love that a long-lasting friendship can bring. I enjoyed it immensely." (A review from @Liz_Reid2021)

"I loved that the characters were more mature and established in their lives and we could really explore how the events of the book impacted on them. The characters felt realistic, as did their friendship which was clearly built on mutual respect and appreciation of each other whilst not having to live in each other’s company constantly. A really heart-warming read which I worked through easily and enjoyably." (A review from @that_alto)

"A great read. There was laughter and sadness. I'm still debating who was my favourite character, but if I really had to choose, I would say Leonora. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. We all need good friendships in our lives." (A review from @sam_book_lover_ross)

"I really enjoyed a female-led protagonist plot. We meet Leonora, Selena and Dorothea, each with unique personalities and dynamic lives. We really got to know each character well and they each brought a different perspective to how they managed different challenges they faced. It was really engaging and emotional to read. I would recommend this book." (From a review at Laughter and Thunderstorms Reviews)

"I did enjoy this book. This was a easy read with likeable characters. I loved the friendship between Selena, Dorothea, and Leonora. I loved how they were with each other. This is a new author for me. I would definitely recommend this book." (Sue Loves to Read Reviews)

"This is about a lovely friendship group. I liked all three main characters and became very invested in their stories. This read was a rollercoaster of emotions and very engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it." (A review from @bookaddict.twylie68)

"This was a fairly quick and enjoyable read - I was totally invested in each storyline and was really rooting for a happy ending for each of the three women. A real feel-good read, perfect for summer." (A review from @book_a_holic_17)

"What I loved about the story was following Leonora, Selena and Dorothea's journey and, despite the circumstances, seeing their friendship strengthen and grow. This was an easy read and one that I thoroughly enjoyed." (A review from @bookshortie)

"This book had me smiling, it had me angry and wanting to throw the book and even had me close to tears at one point. What an achievement for the author to make me feel so many different emotions in a book that’s just over 200 pages. I highly recommend that people pick up a brew, grab a snack, clear their afternoon and see what these ladies get up to!" (From a review at PRDG Reads)

"The Friday Friendship Club follows three women, Leonora, Selena and Dorothea, who support each other throughout the good, the bad and the ugly times. Brooke knows how to lift us with her gorgeous writing, which makes this the absolute perfect holiday, or summer read. The book left me smiling and content, I highly recommend this author's books. They are just incredible, and full of love and laughter along the way." (A review from @bookishbeautyjade_ox)

"I found this book really heartwarming to read, and funny too, though it was a tearjerker in places. I loved the fact that although each character had her own obstacles to overcome, they all supported each other and lifted each other up, because that's what good friends do. This book left me with a smile on my face, and I think that sometimes in life, we all need our own Friday Friendship Club, or something a little bit like it." (A 4-star review by @teaandbooks90 (Kelly's Reviews))

"Three friends since college meet up every month to share a bottle or two of wine. Now in their fifties, life's ups and downs are a joy to read about. A refreshing read of fun, friendship and older ladies!" (A 4-star review from Karen J Mossman's World of Stories)

"I loved how different the three women were, and how, as the book progressed, you learnt more about each of them. This was such a fun and easy read. Perfect for the summer!" (A review by @reading_with_leanne)

"This is not my usual genre but I did enjoy both the storyline and the characters. It tells the story of three friends who support one another through the good times and the bad times. I highly recommend it!" (5-star Goodreads review)

"I really enjoy this author's style of writing. It’s a nice change to have older ladies who still enjoy life to the fullest as the main protagonists in a story. I loved how each of them had their own chapters so we could get to know them better. I particularly enjoyed the way Selena used colours and sees them all around her. Her vibrant personality and her happy optimistic outlook on life were great. A great fun & friendship read!" (4-star Amazon review)

"This is a heartwarming tale that wraps you in friendship’s embrace, like a cozy blanket on a spring day." (Bluesky Reader Review from @booksrme)

"This is a lovely feel-good holiday read, but don’t expect anything too dramatic. No murders, no kidnappings, no bodies. It’s not that kind of book. So grab a cup of tea, put your feet up, and enjoy!" (From a review at Bookchatter@Cookiebiscuit Reviews)
